Ryan Weir is vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing for India. Named
to this position in January 2023, Weir is responsible for commercial airplane and
services sales and customer relationships in India.
Weir previously served as a vice president of Boeing’s Global Leasing Sales,
responsible for developing Boeing’s leasing strategy and leading commercial airplane
and services sales to airplane leasing companies.

Before becoming a vice president of Global Leasing Sales, Weir was a Boeing
Commercial Airplanes Commercial Director in the Greater China region responsible for
the Air China Group. Weir started as a Commercial Director in 2012, managing several
customers in South Korea, including Asiana Airlines, Jeju Airlines, and several other
LCCs. Weir has also supported a number of Chinese leasing customers, Air Canada,
Hawaiian, and Alaska Airlines.
Before becoming Sales Director, Weir was the Chief of Staff for the Executive
Vice President of Commercial Airlines and worked in the BCA Marketing Financial
Analysis group, where he led airlines in the preparation of Information Memorandums
for the Export Import Bank.
