Helen has nearly 30 years of experience in aircraft financing and is widely recognized as the most experienced and dedicated aviation finance lawyer who has built and shaped the Korean aviation finance industry.

Helen has advised major airline clients including Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jin Air, T'way Air, Jeju Air, and Air Premia, in addition to foreign lessors and financial institutions such as Export-Import Bank of Korea, the Korea Development Bank, and Korean investment funds and banks.

Helen's award-winning work includes Project Labrador, the first and largest aircraft portfolio deal in Korea, and Project Kestrel, the second largest aircraft portfolio deal in Korea, among others.

More recently, Helen advised on Korean Air's US EXIM-guaranteed finance lease of B787-10 aircraft, which was undertaken under a KRW-denominated loan for the first time in the history of US EXIM Bank guarantee transactions and has been nominated as Deal of Year by IFLR.
